Cocktail Crafting at Carmela Ice Cream
Cocktail expert Daniel Kent (Dean of Beverages at The Institute of Domestic Technology) is coming to Carmela Ice Cream on West 3rd Street for an exciting summer refreshment course. On Thursday, August 28th Daniel will teach a frosty version of his popular “Cocktail Crafting” class, which includes making bitters from scratch and crafting prohibition-era cocktails. For this class Carmela’s seasonal sorbet will be taking the place of liqueurs. Sounds chill, right?
Each student enrolled in the class will get to learn the art of cocktailing hands-on, concoct their own bitters and go home with a pint of Carmela Ice Cream sorbet – voted “Best of LA 2014”. Light appetizers are provided, but there are plenty of places to get a bite to eat nearby.
